Cross is the most effective pass blocking offensive tackle in this draft
The problem I'm trying to deal with Madden 23 coins is taking this much of a chance with a top 5 pick on a guy who had 9.5 sacks in college ... all in all.

I'm not saying that raw stats aren't the be all-all, be all of college pass rushers. Here's what I'm worried about: In the top 10 sacks leaders within Madden NFL 23 Madden NFL 23 last year one player didn't achieve at least a 10.0 sacks in his college season. That was Micah Parsons. It's quite scary to think of a player this high and not having a proven track record.

Cross is the most effective pass blocking offensive tackle in this draft, in all likelihood. That's why to see him drop to the number. 13 spot is astonishment to me. I understand why this happened due to the way their mock was coming together but I'm still unable to believe it.

It wasn't long ago I had Cross marked in with the Panthers with the number. 6 and was still concerned that the possibility of him not being available. There are some upside issues with Cross that have led some (including me) to select Evan Neal above him as the second best offensive tackle in the draft. I'd still be awestruck to observe that the Falcons and Seahawks trading him.

That said, if the Texans manage to come away with Kayvon Thibodeaux and Charles Cross as this mock has been arranged, would it be an exciting time in Houston.

Everyone and their brother has Sauce Gardner going as the top cornerback of the year. I am sure of it. The obvious second-best CB will be Derek Stingley Jr, and I also get it. After that the Kiper/McShay mock gets off track for me.

Daxton Hill at No. 18. Andrew Booth Jr. at No. 25. then we'll have to wait until we get pick 48 for Kaiir Elam? What's this madness?

Elam is superior to Booth Jr. and Hill as well as Booth Jr. to me, and he's plummeting. Mel almost certainly confirms that he picked Hill early because he personally really likes him, which doesn't hurt, but scares me quite a bit. Picking a player who exclusively played slot corner in college with the 18th pick overall is extremely concerning to me.

I remember Hill being a part of the late 20s to a team that was in the playoffs and, more importantly, after Elam was taken off the roster.

It's another Mel choice and he's admitted that Watson is a little raw however I'm amazed that the fact that he's picked no. 22. to go with buy mut 23 coins the Packers along with some of the other talent still on the board.
